So, who am I, anyway?
The name's V. R. Valkiakivi, I'm a student in the field of health sciences.
Currently residing in Tampere, Finland.I've been a hobbyist artist since 2008 or so. I'm most interested in depicting themes of nihilistic comfort, grotesque beauty and the general gloom of nature — both animal and human. Despite this, I'm no stranger to more light-hearted pieces on the side.
If it's got sharp edges, wild cartoony shapes and bold colors or crusty, sweaty girlfails, it's right up my alley.My works are mostly original, but on occasion I find myself drawing fanart of media I happen to enjoy, such as Black Lagoon, Azumanga Daioh or Danganronpa.I mostly work under an alias to both protect my privacy and to uphold a sense of mystery around myself.

I am a nonbinary lesbian, and a liberal Christian. If you think any of those labels contradict each other, I don't really care.
Do, however, rest assured that regardless of your identity or religion; as long as you are not hurting anyone or anything, you are welcome to interact with me.
I am rather cynical and pessimistic, and tend to find comfort in the gloomy side of things. I don't really have an interest in friendships, but I appreciate all folks that want to talk to me.
